Performance and Prevention Physical Therapy in Mooresville, NC

Stay Ahead. Stay in the Game.

Most athletes wait until they're hurt before seeing a PT. This program is built for those who refuse to wait, stay active, train consistently, and stay ahead of breakdown.

Every Athlete Has a Breaking Point. Most Just Don't See It Coming.

The Post-PT Slide

You finished a PT package, made real progress, and went back to training. Six months later the pain is creeping back. Without ongoing maintenance, old patterns and dysfunctions return.

Training Without a Spotter

High-volume training without professional oversight of your movement quality is a risk. Minor asymmetries, compensations, and tightness build quietly until they don't.

Waiting Until It Hurts

Most people only book an appointment when pain forces the issue. By then, a small dysfunction has often become a real injury. The Performance and Prevention program is for getting there first.

What Renew Patients Are Saying

Verified reviews from active adults and athletes in the Mooresville area.

Eric is phenomenal! I went to Eric because I thought I pulled a hip flexor. Eric was able to diagnose it was actually an abductor strain and was able to relieve the pain and help strengthen that area to help prevent the injury again. He also worked wonders with a lingering old injury to my right pec causing shoulder pain. I would highly recommend Eric to anyone looking for a friendly, professional, knowledgeable PT.
Stephen Hartman
Eric has been great and we continue to check in regularly. He provides first class service, and helped me through some lower back injuries. Not only did he identify the underlying cause of injury and limited mobility but provided personalized workout and exercise plans to build strength and functional movement. He follows up promptly and always asks how the trouble areas are doing.
Jim Elston
Eric is fantastic, he takes a wholistic approach and really cares!

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about the Performance and Prevention monthly membership at Renew.

Do I have to complete a PT package before joining?

The normal entry point is after completing a physical therapy package with Renew — your clinician already knows your history and can build on your progress. That said, proactive athletes without a current injury may be able to enter the program directly. Reach out and we can discuss what makes sense for your situation.

What happens during a monthly Performance and Prevention visit?

Each session is flexible based on what your body needs that month. Visits may include bodywork, soft tissue work, dry needling, cupping, joint mobilization, movement reassessment, or clinical exercise programming. Your clinician guides the session based on your current training demands and any new issues that have come up.

Is this just PT stretched out over months?

No. This is not ongoing rehab, it is proactive maintenance. You are not in pain management mode. You are in performance mode. The goal is to keep you training hard, catch small dysfunctions before they become injuries, and build on the resilience you developed during PT.

How is this different from just going to the gym and stretching?

Stretching and training are not the same as clinical assessment. A Doctor of Physical Therapy can identify movement compensations, asymmetries, and early-stage dysfunctions that you will not find on your own. That professional eye is the difference between staying ahead of an injury and waiting for it to happen.

Can I pause or cancel the membership?

Reach out to the Renew team directly to discuss your options. Membership details, pause policies, and cancellation terms are handled on a case-by-case basis. We want the program to work for your training schedule and life, not be a source of friction.
